What idspot does

idspot searches public web pages and public social profiles for the person you describe, and shows the accounts it can tie to them. It never logs in to anyone's account and never buys private data.

What we store about you

Your name, email address and profile picture from Google sign-in.
The searches you run and the reports they produce, until you delete them.
Your plan, credits and payment history. Card details are handled by our payment provider (Stripe); we never see or store card numbers.
Basic technical data (IP address, browser) to keep the service running and stop abuse.

What reports contain

Reports only contain information that is already public: public profiles, their public counts and bios, and public pages. A report is visible to the account that ran it. If you share a report, people with the link see a preview only.

Cookies

We use a sign-in cookie and a cookie that keeps your free previews in one browser. We do not use advertising cookies.

Deleting your data

You can delete any search, all searches, or your whole account from Settings at any time. Deleted searches and reports are removed from our systems.
